Questions About Donations
We offer several ways to donate: online payment via the website (approved by the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank), bank transfer to the association's official accounts, InstaPay, or a representative to your doorstep to collect your donation for free at 01145122000.
Absolutely! You can choose from more than 15 programs: monthly family sponsorship, orphan sponsorship, monthly feeding, debt relief, immunodeficiency injections, ongoing charity, Ramadan food packages, wealth zakat, Fitr zakat, Eid clothing, Udhiya meat distribution, school fees and bags, and more.

Yes! We accept in-kind donations such as used and new clothing, household furniture, and electrical appliances. They are sorted, inspected, and distributed to families in need. Call us at 01145122000 to arrange free pickup from your doorstep.
Questions About Zakat
Zakat is calculated at 2.5% of total savings once they reach the value of 85 grams of 24-karat gold and a full Hijri year has passed. You can use the zakat calculator on the programs page to calculate your zakat accurately.
Zakat is an obligation on every Muslim whose wealth reaches the nisab and a full year has passed on it; it must be spent on the eight categories specified by Sharia. Sadaqah is voluntary, has no minimum or specific time, and can be spent on any form of good.
Zakat al-Fitr is obligatory on every Muslim, young or old, and must be given before the Eid al-Fitr prayer. Its amount is one sa' of the local staple food (about 2.5 kg of rice). You can give it through the association and we will distribute it to those entitled to it.
Sadaqah Jariyah is a charity whose reward continues even after the giver's death, as long as people benefit from it. Examples at Khair Zad include: building water wells, installing clean water connections in villages, and providing CPAP and BiPAP ventilator devices to hospitals.
Questions About the Association and Volunteering
Yes, Khair Zad Charitable Association is registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity (formerly the Ministry of Social Affairs) under number 1754 dated 14/9/2009, and its status was reconciled in accordance with Law 149 of 2019.
The headquarters is at 35 Khaled Ibn Al-Walid Street, University District, Mansoura, Dakahlia Governorate. Working hours are Saturday to Thursday, 10 AM to 5 PM. Friday is a weekly day off.
We welcome volunteers! You can register through the volunteer form on the contact page. We need volunteers for sorting and distributing clothes, preparing and distributing meals, blood donation campaigns, and participating in seasonal activities.
We believe in complete transparency. You can contact customer service at 0502215152 to inquire about where your donation went. We also publish detailed annual achievement reports on our website and social media pages.
Alongside our charitable programs, the association runs several service projects: a charitable blood bank for thalassemia patients, the Khair Zad Educational Nursery, a newborn care center (since 2016), and support for government hospitals with medical devices and equipment.
